I signed up for the Top Gun Options (partner is wealth creation investing) FREE two week trial for weekly options education and trade room. I am an experienced option trader and was supposed to get full two weeks of trading in monday thru Friday with alerts to adjust trades accordingly by Whiz Buckley.
What i found out halfway thru the first week was that Whiz is using a paper trading account and is not trading real money. He also takes very risky trades and because he is trading a paper money account which he calls his model portfolio he has an endless amount of trade adjustments he can do and still portray good performance even if he is half right. he also trades large amount of options in addition to the number of trades and adjustments.
i traded the first week with him and lost about $3000 on his weekly options on the spx before i found out about the paper trading account. The second week i followed him because he claimed he was trading real money in another account that he does not show the performance or the size of the trades. By the way he trades large number of options to boost the profits in his model portfolio to get prospective traders attention that they can make $6000 in a week.
My plan was to watch his performance thru the end of the second week and see if the first week was just a bad week. Trading ends on Friday so my plan was to cancel Friday or Saturday after the the trial before the next week of trading starts.
Well low and behold they work the week end charging their free trial customers to make sure they get a next months tuition. i got a notice as soon as they charged me on saturday and i immediately sent them an email and called them to reverse the charge. Remember they are charging you for a service which wont start until Monday. I couldnt believe it when they told me No. By the way the tuition is $295 per month
I got steve the support guy on the phone and he told me that the pride themselves on not refunding the free trial students the next months tuition and that i should just take advantage of it. Said they had all the bases covered and i wouldnt get my money back even if i disputed it. Well i immediately filed a dispute thru my visa debit card (by the way never use a debit card for this kind of service always use a visa or mastercard credit card as the dispute process in better). After 5 months I got my answer that i would not get my money back. i am appealing the decision now but i dont have a high confidence on it.
What irritates me is this guy (Former Military pilot) tries to pull himself off as this top gun option trader who claims to have influential contacts with access to info. He uses his military backgroud and the glamour associated with a TOP GUN pilot to appeal to those folks who support the armed services and then he robs them blind let alone how much money they lose with him. I think the way he runs the business is unethical based on my experience after all who charges a person for a service that they did not recieve. would you trust your account balance to that individual???

Person posting lost his complaint with his Credit card company, these usually go the client not the merchant.
