Do not deal with a broker name Frederick Poast, if there is a detention on a load... you can call him forever.... and he will ask you to call back, but he will never pay you.

last week i have the worst experience, my truck was late for 1 hrs. a woman name jessica cancel my appointment and charge me $1800 for 1 hrs late. and it is nothing you can do because tql.... they don't have anyone you can talk to except to Frederick Poast, but he won't talk to you...... they claim, it is not them who charge, but a customer........ if they told me about all these stupid fee before hauling the load..... i won't except the load....there was a fine print at the end that they can charge up to $500 if you are late without reason.... i was willing to pay $500, but what they are charging me is very unreasonal........

if you want to discuss with them about detention you can forget about it....... this company hardly pay detention.... my driver can wait from 10am til 6pm. they promise to pay $50 because they dont' have money in the load..... at the end... they said they were never agree to pay me $50.............

there are some broker that are true to their words, but very little

Dealing with TQL broker

This story is about TQL (http://www.tql.com/) and what I had to deal with to get the load, from a drivers stand point. https://youtu.be/7YPiC8SjMMo

If your in the trucking industry you know all to well about brokers. Most of them that I have over the years have been alright. There has been some loads that have had there problems. I hope that none of you drivers have to put up with this Broker again. It sounds like this happens more than it should.

Deceptive Thieves

Word of advise.... use a different broker!!!!! Trickery, deception, and thievery is what TQL is good at!!! They will give deceptive load info that will detain your truck for hours and will not pay a detention for it. When you ask for a manager they just hand you off to the next liar sitting beside them, that will tell you that the first 6hrs. of detention is FREE to TQL and still won't pay . This is probably one of the most dishonest, disrespectful, scam companies we have ever hauled a load for..... We cancelled our contract with them!!!!! There are hundreds of brokers offering the same loads.... we recommend you use one of them.

Carriers Beware!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD BAD BAD COMPANY TO HAUL FOR. They will lie to you; They will pay you garbage rate; they will even post multiple towns on boards for a load 150 miles away and try to convince you that its only 20 miles.... cause that is what they are going to pay you for..... Don't believe me watch the load board... TQL will have 50 loads on the board to a certain destination all coming from places with in 150 miles of where the real origin of the load is.

Not all brokers are dishonest..... But TQL is the worst!!!

I have been detained here in SC by the monopoly of these gang stalker especially TQL who is working hand in hands with the larget terrorist in this country who is tapping my phone and gang stalking me by refusing all loads in a 6 loads to 1 truck market. The covert terorist has apparently joint venture to gang up on poor truckers and absolutely nickle and dime them so that the teror gang at large and the brokeer benefit from it. The have been telling me here in SC for the last week that lall load hve been covered and TQL does not answer my phone calls any more. The terror will call me once or twice a day by offering a load from its gang member with an offer which will only benefit the broker not the carrier . It is a truckes market here in SC, n ther are 6 loads available to one truck but because of the joint venture of the terrorist gang and TQL I have been detained here for over a week now.

TQL cheated their way out of payment for 2 loads(1 was clear across the US). This totaled $3600.00 after fuel advance. Loads totaled $6800. My driver was dispatched for a $4200 reefer load of cucumbers going from Arizona to Michigan. Driver arrived on time and was told the truck bringing the cucumbers was held up in customs And would call driver when load was ready. Driver agreed and notified TQL immediately. They seemed unconcerned as long as the load made it to MI in time. NO detention was paid. This was a no touch sealed load with reefer to be set at 40-42 degrees. Reefer was pre cooled to that temp and set on continous as requested by BOL. 4 hrs later the load was ready and driver was on his way after 2 hrs loading. This burned up pretty much the whole day but driver arrived on time to consignee in MI. TQL received daily check calls of location. While waiting to be unloaded receiver told driver that some of the cucumbers were frozen. SOME! When driver was allowed in warehouse to see the load he noticed all of the pallets were covered with ice from shipper. Receiver said that was normal. Driver however noticed that on multiple pallets the plastic protective covering was removed or pushed aside. Driver was given temp recorder reading which consisted of a paper ripped in half with no date and a time frame longer than the driver was in possession of the load. The reading showed a starting point at 90 degrees and dropped down between 25 and 30 for the remainder. When my driver asked where recorder was placed he was told in the ice.

Last time I checked that's not proper placement by shipper. Keep in mind this was a regularly serviced Thermo King unit which was checked prior to this trip and after due to this situation.Worked flawlessly and kept accurate temp. Warehouse employee said he would probably have to refuse the load but he had to call the owner. Driver agreed and once again notified TQL of the status. When owner arrived he said he could take the load but had to mark BOL with 7 pallets frozen. Driver, owner, and TQL broker(AKA one of the many liars) spoke on the phone at the same time. Broker told driver to go ahead and drop the load with the damage noted. Driver directly asked"Before i drop this load, will my pay affected in any way?" Liar broker claimed absolutely not. We(TQL)will take care of the situation. Driver got unloaded with 7 pallets marked as damaged and went about a mile up the road for a P/U going to FL. This location was owned by the same company that had just received the cucumbers and the load conformation was made and signed at the same time as the prior load. When my driver went inside he was told the load to FL was, already being loaded on another truck. Driver was not told by the owner of this situation and was actually given directions to the location.Driver of course notified TQL and was told they would find him a load out of MI. LIARS! ps. No TONU pay either. Driver set up invoice for 1 day quick pay and after 2 days of no payment was told by accounting that load was accidently processed for 7 day quick pay.

MORE LIARS! The next day another TQL load was booked from Ohio to Kansas through a different broker. I called accounting prior to signing the rate conformation to verify that the prior load would in no way effect pay on the current load. I was told as long as there are no issues with the KS load quick pay would be issued in full as normal. Never trust 1 liar let alone a whole group of them. Of course,1 day quick pay not paid for second load. There were no issues whatsoever on that load.Called accounting again. This time they claimed the original load was accidently setup for 30 day pay and second load was accidently setup for 7 day quick pay. WTF! Do they think I was born yesterday? After a couple of weeks of attempting to call broker for original load to see whats going on. I just kept getting the run around(out to lunch, meeting, jury duty, etc). After another week,I received a claim for damage of over $7000. ? where the hell is my $4k? The claim also had me owing back the fuel 40 percent I received for fuel advances. When I spoke to this Kathleen In TQL claim dept I notified her of this whole situation and that my driver,my company,or my equipment was not at fault for this. Her response was "you should put in a claim with your insurance company". WHAT!!! That reefer unit was checked, working properly, and set to the correct temp. If I put a claim in to my insurance for $7000 for an issue not caused by my employee or equipment. That would be INSURANCE FRAUD! Sorry all you lying TQL bastards, I'm not going to jail for you! Call your own insurance co and pay my company what is due The Moral of this story. TQL loads. JUST SAY NO!!!!!
