Total Transportation of Mississippi LLC Reviews

  • Feb 16, 2015

Having begun employment November 6, 2014 I was issued a truck 21696 that had been involved (unknown to me) in an accident last July. It took four shop visits before a shop identified the reason the fan belts kept getting chewed up was because of the accident.

The final problem I was fixing the quit the company over was the air kept losing pressure while driving and four shop visits and one road call could not solve the problem.

I turned my truck in 2/12/15 and paid for my own hotel room that night and was scheduled to meet with Tony Wallace the next morning.

When it was made clear to Tony Wallace I was not going back into 21696 he scurried to find another truck. He showed me on his spreadsheet I was due the next new Freightliner that came in and immediately paid for my last nights hotel room without even having to show a reciept (I offered.)

I hung around the terminal all day and did not depart with a driver for Loudon until late in the afternoon and Tony warned me the driver talked alot and would talk my ear off and true to the warning the driver talked the entire time from Jackson to Loudon.Tony told me there would be a motel room waiting for me and the driver dropped me off about midnight.

The motel room toilet backed up to the point of me requiring the night manager to come to the room with a plunger and after plunging it was obvious the toilet did not have the proper ability to empty due to some plumbing problem. The hotel manager asked if I wanted to move and I was just too tired.

Around 9:30am I got a call from the front desk from a shuttle driver Tony who threatened that if I didn't come with him that very minute I would be walking to the terminal. I called the terminal and they said they would pick me up at noon.

My own dispatch offered to me for me to get a cab and he would pay for the cab ride.

At noon I went to the front desk and a second shuttle driver started to disparage me in front of the desk clerk and another total driver couple started to add thier two cents worth. After being ganged up on the male driver of the couple stuck his fist in my face and threatened me with bodily harm. I called the police and two police officers came and one of them gave me a ride to the terminal.

While getting things sraight on my new truck I was called into the office and in addition to the afore mentioned mis-characterizations a new lie was added. The window dispatch said I swore at him which was patently false and Trey informed me I was being terminated.

hmmm, I wanted to leave the day before and if it hadn't been for Tony Wallace's insistance and keeping me up all day and half the night then hasseling me the next day I would have been gone.

What's really sad is the pathetic trail of facts which easily show where the problem lies.

In fourteen weeks of employment while dealing with a truck that constantly breaking down and being paid an average take home pay of $490.00 per week, getting home only once every four weeks and being talked into staying by Tony Wallace (who told me to store my things in his office and gave me a key to his office) I wind up being terminated because of thier rude, insensitive, and inep ability to keep their facts straight.

As my fouth grade teacher so aptly said, "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve."

Would really appreciate my things back Tony Wallace. At this writing he has not responded to my voice mail messages asking for my things back and how he intends to get them to me...
