TJ customer for over 20 years, but not anymore.

Bought Wild Blue Shrimp from Mexico and had food poisoning for five days! I am sensitive to tainted food, so there is very little doubt that the shrimp were tainted with some bacteria.

Trader Joe's Corporate QA group in Monrovia did not give a crap. Worthless people.

If you or someone in your family has been poisoned by this product (or any other product sold by TJ) please report your illness immediately.

You don't have to endure food poisoning, and it is best for public safety to report ASAP. You can report to your doctor, the FDA, your local TJ store, or those warm and fuzzy people in QA.

Monrovia TJ QA contact = 626-599-2858, Christy Hammond

Please avoid the frozen Wild Blue Shrimp (and other Mexican seafood) going forward. In fact, be very careful when buying anything at TJ. They are not what they seem to be. They deal in rotten food.

THE KEY IS THIS: TJ is not required by the FDA to address food poisoning if it involves only one person. If there are two or more victims, then TJ must report this to the FDA and the problem is escalated.

Please report your TJ seafood poisoning and keep all packaging and tainted food in freezer until it can be inspected.

Please report for everyone's sake - better safe then sorry.

I have been shopping at Trader Joe for years. Thou T.J is not Gelson or a Major supermarket. They do not have too many varieties, their shelves, and the stores look half empty, and Majority of shoppers is only purchasing two to five items.

To me; they are similar to a neighborhood High Priced Seven Eleven with a few more different products. I am not going to shop there again; But the Trader Joe was good for quick shopping whenever I needed a few items, about $80 to $100 a week. However, The Valentine day was my last day of shopping with Trader Joe. I have been purchasing flowers on an average two times per week. This Valentine I was late and did not have enough time to order flowers or visit the flower shop. So, like an old habit, I stopped by Trader Joe and purchased a couple of dozen roses at a very good price. Only $12.99 per bundle and that was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I Trusted Trader Joe and assumed their product at least would last for a day. The cellophane Wrappers was holding the roses together. As soon as she opened the wrappers to put the flower in a vase, the most embarrassing thing happened to me that ruined my Valentine day.

The Roses were so old that all the Petals fell to the Ground when she removed the wrappers. She looked at me with a few green sticks in her hand and said; really? Is it a Joke?

I am going to stop here. You do not want to know what happened next.

Thanks, Trader Joe. For selling the GARBAGE.

That was the last $30 you are ever going to take from me. From now on Me, My neighbors, Friends, and Families; will be shopping Next Door. At the Smart and Final

Trader Joes was notified about bad yogurt, but took no action. When I tried the product a few weeks later I was sick. They talk about quality and concern for custmers. All bs as far as I can tell, and now their customer service said to quit calling them after poisoning me, and having been previosly notified, they did nothing but talk, talk, talk. No more. After 30 years I not going to Trader Joes due to health concerns and the lack of action.
