Travel Corp Getaways Reviews

I purchased a DealChicken for 3-days/2-nights for a hotel across the street from Disneyland. I emailed Travelcorp on March 3, 1025 and they sent me a voucher which I had to return with a $46 cashier's check or money order as no personal check would be accepted. I sent this in on April 2, 2015. It says they will get back to me within 10 business days.

I have not heard a word back. I just emailed them at [email protected] and the email comes right back. I tried their phone numbers and none work. I further went to their website http://www.travelcorpgetaways.com and it says the domain is available. It appears they have taken my check and ran. I am contacting DealChicken now to get reimbursed. I hope to see my money back which is a total of $179.00. I'm still on hold...10 minutes now.

Do not use TravelCorp! Complete scam.

Ripe off from Deal Chicken

Had the same experience one year before. Paid for 3day/2night stay in Daytona Beach Oceanfront at Holiday Inn. Paid for stay plus had to send additional $44.00. Upon our arrival, we were told our reservations had been cancelled by a third party which was Deal Chicken (appropriate name for the company) At that point we needed a place to stay and that cost us an additional $100.13 for one night. I have been trying for now almost one year to get an answer or some explanation but to no avail. NEVER even heard back from this so called company. Out over $250.00 and still waiting to hear anything.

Voucher Bought from Deal Chicken for New Orleans

I have followed every step of the "fine print". I have paid taxes upfront. I have emails back and forth. Now they are being bounced back and there is no contact information. I have over $200.00 invested and nothing to show for it. Total rip-off. BEWARE!

I also purchase a deal chicken voucher for a travel corp getaway to Lake Tahoe back in February 2014. I sent the travel voucher to travel corp 30 days in advance of my requested travel dates. I did not hear from them over the next 30 days. My dates requested for travel where approaching so I decided to contact them. I looked up there phone number on the internet, called, no responce. I emailed them. They responded that they get back to me in two business days. I gave them five business days and contacted them again via email stating that I would be contacting deal chicken. Next thing I know they are crediting my Paypal account for the taxes paid.

Travel Corp states that people don't read the terms and conditions stated on the voucher. I did and met every request written in the small print.

This has been one big headache and a waste of time trying to reach out to the company. I had bought this trip as a 20th anniversary gift and had to make some quick change of plans. I would not recommend using this company for any travel needs and it sounds like others agree.

On August 4th I paid Travel Corp for a 2 night/3 day stay at a hotle in Miami. I did all the things that were required of me including paying the taxes up front

Have had many emails going back & forth pertaining to the reservation, was told I would be contacted at least 90 days before my trip to find out which hotel my reservation was booked at, this did not happen. I contacted them, they started the same thing over stating to send over my travel form etc. I did agian as I did before, only to be told that they culd not book my hotle. They have had my money over 2 months, did not contact me, I had to contact them, what would have happened had I not got intouch with them?

Absolute rip off-not I am fighting to get my money back & have t find a hotel to stay at, at prime time-thanks alot Travel Corp.

I purchased a Myrtle Beach, SC 4 days, 3nights voucher from deal saver. I followed all of the steps to redeem the voucher within the time frames given. I had no problems getting in contact with them originally to set up the information needed for the trip, they sent me the form to fill out and I did so and mailed it to them within the time frame needed. I sent an email to them weeks after my form was mailed to them and received a response stating that they were behind and that they would be sending me my confirmation in 7 business days. I have been waiting for confirmation for my trip now for 11 business days and have sent over 6 emails to get a status update. I have received no response in regards to the status nor have I recieved confirmation for my trip. I have called and left several voicemail messages and have no received a call back.

I understand that businesses get behind and need more time to adequately complete requests, however not responding to email nor phone calls is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I have worked in the customer service industry for 5 years and I would never dream of treating customers the way they have treated me by not responding. I have around $200 invested in this trip and I am completely in the dark as to if it will be completed and set up in time for us to go to SC. When ever you call their 800 number half of the time you are not given the oppourtunity to leave a message as it says that the wireless customer you are calling cannot be reached and then you are disconnected. When the phone does ring, for either number you NEVER get to speak with a person and always get a voicemail message. I am completely disheartened with the service they have provided and will never use them again for travel arrangments. The headache this has been was not worth the money that was saved-- as of now I may have just threw $200 out of the window as who knows if my reservations will even be confirmed. I cannot speak with a manager or superviser because I cannot speak with anyone! I also cannot find a corperate number for them in order to escalate the issue. This is absolutely ridicilous!

We sent a check to them over a month before our scheduled trip, which they quickly cashed. we never heard anything from them about the dates we wanted for our vacation. I emailed them since we could not get anyone there to call us back after leaving 3-4 messages. A week later, i get a response that they can't get us the scheduled time we wanted.

We had alternate dates, but they didn't say if we got those dates either. I told them I thought the fact that they would not respond to me by phone was not very professional. i couldn't even get a name on the email just "reservation department". I asked that a supervisor contact me about my complaint.

I didnt want to communicate via email. not only did they not call me back, they then threatened me with their "legal team"????? really??-this company is a joke, I am reading complaint after complaint of people experiencing the same thing. no one human will respond to you. it seems they only do business through email.

I don't even want the alterante dates, just my money back! i have the cashed check, but no vacation!!!!!!

I purchased a Deal Chicken hotel voucher on line for Seattle. I began contacting them in February to see if a hotel in Bellevue would be available as an alternative. They said they would only let me know if I sent in the original request along with a certified check to cover taxes. I could not talk to them on the phone, nor would they give me a simple yes or no re: the request for Bellevue hotel location.

I sent in the request for a hotel room in Seattle or Bellevue for May 17 - 19 on March 11 . Heard nothing, then an email April 14 saying no hotels were available. This is annoying, so much time wasted- and to be told a lie that there are no rooms, which is false. I went on the internet and found hotel rooms available in all the hotels for the dates I requested, that they advertize in the voucher: Courtyard Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square, Quality Inn Suites, The Roosevelt, Warwick Seattle and Courtyard by Marriot.

They said they would refund my money. But this has been a colosal waste of time and a huge headache. Do not deal with this company. I will let you know if they do refund my money (I emailed my request today to Travel Corp Getaways).
