Travelocity Reviews

I just found out that I have been charged for about $1000.00 automatically by Travelocity.

A year ago while buying an air ticked, I must have clicked some consent to have access to some service. I am not aware of what their service is, what they are offering, that I had access to it and of cause I never used it.

My bank says it is not fraud, because I clicked my consent and did not complain within 3 months.

I don't use this mastercard very often, it gets paid automatically and I usually don't check it.

Travelocity claims that even if I was unaware of their service and never used it, they have the right to charge me, because they claim all this time they granted me access to their service.

I feel this is fraud. For 12 months for 2 different alleged services, I have been charged about 12 times $ 90.00, about $1,080.00 in total.

Travelocity now charging extra booking fee on airline ticket purchase. Purchase two round trip tickets and had to pay extra 41.30 in booking fees.. Rip off

Travelocity severely misrepresents change and cancellation fees. If you try to change a flight, the value they give you on the portion of the change is miniscule. In my case, my wife had to stay in Brazil longer than planned. We live in South Florida, but the cost of a one-way flight was more expensive than a round trip, so we booked round trip. 11 days later, after my wife returned, we wanted to return to Brazil from November 5th 2014 to May 15, 2015. After paying $1700 to travelocity, they said it would cost $200 change fee PLUS credit for the return leg (which was get this, $96) plus whatever the cost of the flight next year would be. So, in the case of Brazil, it would cost basically $1200 to make this change. This is after having spent $1700 just 12 days ago. This company claims that it's the airlines that mandate this, but when you work with the airline directly through their website, you can change with minimal or no fee. I have been a Travelocity member for over 5 years and have spent well over $35,000 on trips and hotels. No more.

Iused Travelocity for the very first time accepting their mystery 3.5 star hotel promising up to 40% off the published rate. The rate was so good that Travelocity says you have to pay first {not refundable} and then they notify you where you are staying. I did so. They booked me at the Double Tree. Upon checking their rate online I learned by calling the Double Tree not only did I not receive up to 40% off but was actually paying more than if I booked it myself.

I called Travelocity only to learn that they outsource customer service to the Phillipines. I got the run around for hours. Finally a supervior who was actually nice confirmed that Travelocity had screwed up. He transferred me to corporate HQ's in Las Vegas. I was given a $100 gift voucher for the next time I used Travelocity but was told I had to file online to obtain the Travelocity Guarantee to get my over payment refunded. I thought the nightmare was over.

I have now received 6 emails after filing my claim advising I do not qualify for a refund although 2 supervisors saw it online and the Double Tree themselves admit I am getting ripped off.

Never do business with Travlocity as their rates are a rip off and their customer service even worse.

Booked a flight to Vegas on June 5 through Travelocity returning June 12. Travelocity then messed up my itinerary and has me returning the same day on a flight that I could not make if I wanted to. I have contacted customer service their corporate office left messages for their corporate sales representative and have not had any return calls. Travelocity refuses to help me in anyway and wants me to pay them a second return flight on top of $800 in change fees. Travelocity is a dishonest company and I urge anybody that is booking travel to stay far away from them. I have been arguing and discussing my case with Travelocity for over a week now and they will not help me in any way they just keep putting me on hold and transferring me two different supervisors. I was a regular user of Travelocity before this happened and I will never use them again I have canceled every reservation that I had already set up with them in the near future and I urge anybody who is looking for a travel agency to book your flights cars and hotels through to stay far far away from Travelocity and Expedia! Unfortunately Travelocity's bad customer service lack of care and all out disrespect for their customer base has put a crimp on my family and eyes trip to Las Vegas and I will never use them again.
