Tremont Towing has a scam to tow cars and change over $240 with our reason, there have scam lots such as the one on 17th and Alton road that they will tow your car for being "private property". The secretary in the front stuff is obese body with pizza, as we will give no reason for the tow and demand cash only. The secretary who answers the phone is a obese blading mutant that obviously tries to rip people off because his life has been tortured when younger.
Beware of Tremont Towing in Miami Beach, FL as they will tow car's without reason and demand cash only. We are in the process of a class action suit against this fraud company. I went to TAP TAP rest on July 2, 2015 and the employees stated they had ZERO patron parking & to use a paid lot. Which I did. The rest service was slow & I exceeded the meter by 19 minutes.
My car was towed costing $259 Cash... They would accept no other payment form because obviously they know charge backs exists.
Apparently local media outlets in the Miami beach area have reported this scam. In fact, the city of Miami beach is in on it getting a kickback. These tow companies make MILLIONS a month towing cars illegally & ransoming back to their owners.
I called the police the officer Lincoln who showed up called on the owner by name who wasn't there.
At the time my car was towed I ever heard of this scam! Upon research I have found this nets a tow company millions in fees monthly ... The city has a process where they get a cut.... The city has crafted ordinances to be able to rob unsuspecting visitors.
Miami beach has ordinances & laws to fleece visitors. City government contracts with these two tow companies exclusively allowing them racketeering.
I have proof and am attaching it to this email.
The owner had not called to report me being over 19 minutes.
