Stay away from all business dealings with Trustco Bank. When you go for a loan and you experience hardship this institution is dishonest in their business practices they will not help you retain your home there goal is to take it from you at all costs. They refuse to help you stating that they don't participate in any government assistance therefore they don't have to offer any assistance therefore they choose not to. This is disheartening especially when they want to be known as your neighborhood friendly bank, my ass. If they want to be on the up in up why don't they mention there business practices or lack thereof when they give you the money and in the documentation. No need to answer that question I will tell you why because if they do you won't want to deal with them. Unfortunately I learned of this the hard why my goal is to educate others to hopefully not fall prey to them as I did. I also would love a class action lawsuit to develop against this bank so they can learn that you can't treat people like this. They should be ashamed of themselves and pray for their souls and salvation for what they are doing to innocent people/families how can they live with themselves.
