Trusted Translations Richard Estevez Reviews

  • Apr 24, 2014

I worked for Trusted Translations as well for a few months while I was taking courses at the University in Buenos Aires and let me tell you, it was nothing more than a sweatshop. The quality of their translations was awful, clients constantly angry and bent out of shape because nothing was ever edited. Just run through a translator in google by some translator who you couldnt even have a decent simple converstaion with in English, let alone trust them to translate important corporate documents or legal briefs. I was also told like 10 times a day to make sure that if anybody asks never to say I am located in Argentina, I must say Washington or Virginia. I was told that if I tell any client that the office is in Argentnia I would be fired. The owner of the company gets US government contracts for translation work, which REQUIRE the employer to be based in the US and have employees on the payroll in the US and he is paying people in ARGENTINA to do the work for slave wages of around $400 per month!! I got tired of their abuse and low pay and just never went back. People quit from their office on a daily basis. Former employees have written truthful reviews on the website www.glassdoor.com about how awful it is to work at Trusted Translations and then Richard Estevez writes fake reviews about what an awesome company it is to work for. Go to their office on 1193 Billinghurst street in Buenos Aires. If you want to have an office in Argentina that is fine it is legal but DON'T LIE to clients and the US government into making them think your company is based in the US when it is NOT!
