I went online to find tickets for a concert coming in March. The first site that came up was UberSeat. They stated the tickets were $77 dollars and there were no hidden fees. I couldn't find any other vendors selling the tickets, so i assumed this was the vendor for the venue. I purchased the tickets and the $150 was withdrawn from my account. The tickets went on sale and I heard nothing from Uberseat. I emailed them and they stated that the tickets would be coming soon. The tickets arrived via email and the face value was $25. I was confused because the site claimed no additional fees, so I contacted Uberseat.
They stated that the tickets were purchased from a secondary market which makes no sense since the tickets are still available from the venue directly (they are not sold out). I believed UberSeat is misleading the consumer. They are not providing a service, and their fees are unreasonable. They marked these tickets up 200% and did nothing to deserve the fees. I could go on to the venue right now and purchase the tickets for $25 dollars. They lie when they say "no fees" in big bold letters on their site. They also are relatively unresponsive when contacted. They copy and paste the same messages in to every email.
