This is a serious warning to anyone who is even contemplating going through this SCAM Mill!

First of all let me begin by saying, I entered this vocational school at the request of my then husband. He wanted to join the massage therapy program. His hopes was to later go into physical therapy or sports medicine. I had already received two Bachelors degrees from an accredited University. This was done to support my partner at the time. We enrolled, and there were problems from the onset.

My then husDocband is from another country and they did not even ask him to prove that he had a high school diploma from his country. Then they had issues with the financial aid information. When all was said and done, I had every red flag in my body on full alert and wanted to run for the hills. However, i persevered to help my partner.

We had our first teacher who was great. She was very knowledgeable. Before our second module she was fired for a very non-sensical reason. I found out later that she was informing the upper management that even thought the students were showing excellent practical/table skills, she knew that many of the students (especially the non-native English speaking) students would not be ready to take their state boards at the end of the 9 modules.

We then had the 2nd teacher for three weeks. The school then proceeded to send in another teacher after the 4th module. All in all we went through 6 teachers in a 9 month period of time. The last teacher we had, stayed on aromatherapy for two modules. This was the time that others around us were preparing to take their state boards or other certifications.

For the school to basicallhy save face, they sent in this test preperation teacher. He was basically there was security for the school. There was nothing more that he taught us. I went and took my state boards and failed by 8 points or something like that. I refused to pay another $225-250 to take the test again. I have never earned one dollar from what they promised could be a very lucrative career.

After I was done with the program I went to ask for some job assistance. The girl in the career services office basically advised me to check the internet and go see if Massage envy was hiring any therapists. I was feedup and wanted justice. I wrote letters. Talked to the upper management. Contacted lawyers. tried to file a small claims suit. To no real avail.

Now, I am out of around about $13,600 or so. I am in school working toward completing my Doctorate in Divinity. My financial aid has been affected by this school. I have to pay cash for my higher degrees. It is taking twice as long becasue, I have to stop taking a full load so I can pay my tuition balance down.

Again, this is just a warning. There were 22 individuals in my class. All of us completed the entire program. However there are NONE of those in the class that are making a living from this field. So if you want, save your money and put it toward the tuition of a good four year university or start at a junior/community college and work your way up from there.

I am the Busness Manager for a Dental Office in Lodi, CA.

I hired a young man who had attended UEI, in fact I saw a few resumes from Dental Assistants who attended that school.

He hadn't been able to find a position after 2 yrs of trying. After hiring him, we came to find out that the certificates he thought he'd earned, at UEI, were non existantl. In fact the only certificate we could PULL out of the whole mess was for XRay. While my office manager was trying to get them to fasx a copy she talked to a lady, that tried to give her the run around. She persisted until she finally spoke to the President of this Campus. We did indeed, retreive the Xray Certificate and, at the same time, come to find out they were NOT ACCREDITED. He's currently working as our front desk clerk while we try and help him achieve what he paid the school to do.

I truly believe that, if enough students, file a lawsuit they would win. Since I'm considered a 3rd party I have no recourse. Thjese poor young people are totally being taken advantage of.

Loads of student debt with nothing to show for it. If someone knows of a pending lawsuit I'd apprectiate that information so I may help my employee get some of his money back.
