I live in reading pa and I have a complaint about ugi. I received a gas bill for 617. I called them to ask how much I need to put towards the bill. They told me that I need to pay 459. Now mind you I called a week before to transfer the bill from my sisters name to my name. They told me that they cant transfer it because it was getting disconnected june 19. So im stressing over bills cause I only receive a check once a month. I pay already elec, phone, taxes, oil, trash, car insurance, water, plus I have to buy food cause I make too much for foodstamps. I called the salvation army and they nolonger have anymore funds. I cant get any type of help because they wont transfer it in my name. So I feel I should be able to get a clean slate with the gas company because my sister dont live here anymore and they wont help me with a payment plan. I cant get no help from agencies because the gas is turned off. Its not that im irresponsible but I tried to pay and when I do pay my bill its not enough to pay on it. But I was always told as long as you pay something they cant shut it off. So I have no hot water or gas to cook. And I have no money to buy food. So someone please HELP ME! buy the way it was cut off on the 22nd of july. I feel as though the bill wasnt in my name I should be able to get service in my name.
