An individual named Frank Lavoie made numerous telemarketing phone calls to me for a guide that I don't believe even exists. I do not take solicitation calls especially when I don't know what the company is or when I've never done advertising with these folks before.
The company, Universal Media, suggest their office is listed with the Better Business Bureau and I can find no such listing. After many calls from this individual, most of which were him telling me in my recorded voice mail that we had made an order and I need to call him back, which was false, he was able to get someone else on the phone. My employee told me that whoever called had made it sound as if we had done this listing in year's past with them and he was only trying to finalize an order that he and I had talked about. All of which is completely false.
My employee is one of the sweetest young ladies who handles our reservations. He made it sound as if I had asked for this and she, of course, asked him to send whatever he needed to her. They confirmed the address to send an invoice (which she would know), asked her to if there was a purchase order to include (which she would have no idea), and how much the listing was (again, she would have no idea).
This person taped a small portion of this phone call of which I just wrote about above and the rest is not available. The only portion recorded was where they took advantage of this young lady as if she finalized the order when all she did was ask them to send the final paperwork and she tried to handle it. I can find no listing for this company, I can find nothing in regards to this "guide" they are producing, and they are certainly not working in a fair and business like way.
We will not be paying this bill because of collusion, it's the best I can describe their actions. I have never seen the guide, we have never provided this company with any information to complete a "guide" listing. The company such as this give people who are trying to make an honest living a bad rap. I also believe we are on the no call list as well.

According to complaints on this website and others, the company/ companies promise and offer Search Engine Optimization and help setup Amazon affiliate accounts for its clients. In almost every complaint, the client either pays for the service and never receives what what was promised OR, is hit with a credit card charge much larger than what what aggreed upon.
