Universal Premium Fleet Card Master Card Reviews

  • Sep 1, 2014

This Company has allowed my Cards to be stolen, then used to the sum of over $20,000 without my knowledge or consent, when I had a Limit of $1100.

They have extremely poor customer service.

They have failed to provide any consumer protections.

They have refused to respond to the Attorney Generals Offices from North Dakota and Georga.

They seem to be a monopoly to the Trucking Companies Needing Fuel Cards, in the ownership of ComData, and the Fuelman Network.

I have filed Police Reports due to my stolen cards, and they have refused to respond to law enforcement in regards to the case, and numerous request's for prior accounting statements.

The fraud occured in December of 2013, and is still not resolved.

They had their Attorney Collection Agency contact me to collect on these funds, yet still refuse to speak to the Attorney Generals Offices, and Law Enforcement, or to Respond to my Disputes.

The Attorney Generals Offices have asked that I pass along the information and have others contact them as well in both states, and also to contact two other agencies: the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at www.consumerfinance.gov.

I am now going to pursue the contacts at those agencies as well.

Please beware of any dealings with this company. They will also charge you additional fee's and late fee's as previously noted by their other customers who complained here on the ripoffreport.com

The customer service is very dificult to work with, and you will find it very difficult to ever get in contact with a fraud department or accounting department, or any member of management that would allow the csr to allow you to contact them.

They will also report your credit as poor, or bad to credit reporting agencies to include dun and bradstreet. This though they fail to provide consumer protections, fail to provide statements, charge unauthorized fee's, allow unauthorized charges, do not respond to disputes per the fair credit reporting act, or any of the fair trade acts that they are governed to follow.

They also have a third party processor to process your card or online check which takes several days to process, so the funds you apply, will not be there for several days, unless you call in, and pay extra fee's to process immediately, in which that will take 24 hours as well to process, as it will be on the following day at midnight.

This alone will leave your trucks stranded until they process the funds, if you do not keep them rolling in, and pay the additional fee's.

I had an over paid credit to exceed my credit limit, so that I would be able to use funds while I traveled, and when I took my trip, found out about the overages, as I was stranded in Miles City, Montana during a blizzard.

The card was unusable, and no one would tell me anything at the customer service office.

I never recieved an accurate billing statement to reflect any of the charges, and how they were placed on there.

Then I also recieved billing from their third party agency, in which a Non Sufficient Funds Transfer was processed, then returned from an account that I do not own, nor have any affiliation with.

This account was allowed to place funds on my account and return them to their account freely.

This leads me to believe they have no security on their Information Technology System for their credit card systems.

I am still out of this money that I had prepaid on the account, plus the credit balance that was removed from my account, plus the credit that was used, plus the defamation by their company for failing to pay, plus the fraudulent charges that theyt allowed to occur on my account without protection, plus the bad credit they have caused me.

I would think twice before using them.
