I work for a debt setttlement company. Please contact the Federal Trade Commission on this company. I have a current client who is dealing with the same issue. What they are doing is against the law.
I talked to Margie Taylor who stated card service to reduce credit card interest . She said they could do this and that I was eligible for the reduction. She transferred me to Samantha Anderson. Samantha Anderson got all my information, card numbers , bank numbers, and got one company to reduce rate from 22 % to 18 % on the phone. She was the one who talked at length. She said a lot of things I can not remember, but she said they only use master card and discover. She opened an account with Upromise of Barclay of Deleware acct with a 0 % rate for $2500 dollars. Signed from paper work of URB Management LLC. She told me they would be calling back on Tuesday, this was 4/24/14. This was supposed to let me know if every thing was to work out On May 2, 2014 Leigh White IEP Rep and she says they can even get rid of my debts and 2 judgements on my property with a Discover card with $2300 for a retainer fee . Stated within 12 to 18 months , my debts would be gone. I called her back twice and told her that it had been 58 days and nothing was changed and she said she told me it would take 60 to 90 days. I read contract that stated 60 days and I told her I felt like I was being scammed. She tried to assure me that I wasn't. But she acted irate that I called back and said I was worried about it because I could not afford that. I even told them my lawnmower was gone and I was having to replace it last week. She said to go buy one it would not matter. I really don't understand. I can't prove I have been scammed, but I have a bad feeling that I have.
