We recievd a direct mail "award notification" with the US Airlines logo. the notification was a travel voucher that needed to be redeemed by 2/18/14. I called1-877-754-7814 to respond to the limited time offer. I was told that we needed to go to a 90 minute seminar at the Hilton Gardeen hotel 9785 N by NE Blvd., Fishers, Indiana on 3/1/14 at 12:30pm. if we attended the seminar we would not only get two free round trip tickets anywhere in the continetal us but, because my mother reffered us she would also get 2 tickets. Long story short we listened to a presentation given by a guy named Todd Lewis who wanted us to join a very expensive travel club. We did not wish to join after the presentation but wanted to get our two "free" round trip tickets. I followed all the directions to claim our prize. It was a total scam and I have never recieved any tickets. I spoke to Lorna Rich with infinity travel and Marcia Florez. I have a complete file on this boon doggle.

This organization is a farce and I would love to know if ANYONE had ever received the free air tickets.

Vacationed in Branson, MO for Memorial Day Weekend. Got 2 for 1 tickets to one of MO's show attractions if we would go to this 90 min. sales talk. We were very impressed with the discounted vacations they presented and we love to travel. Thought we would make back our $2400 deposit in about 2-3 discounted vacations. Their program is structured so that you don't realize that you have been scammed until 2 weeks into the program as it takes a week to get activated into their onlite site with overpriced vacations that you have to call their travel agency in FL and wait a week for a call back and find out that you can find better prices on websites like Priceline and Expedia. Nothing like what was shown to us at the presentation. I fought them tooth and nail for a refund with no success; they claimed it was past their 3 day refund policy. I did some research online and found that I was protected by consumer law under Section 75 and I could call my credit card company and file a dispute against a merchant for misrepresented services. That is exactly what I did. Called Capital One to file a dispute and Capital One disputed the charge. I did not get charged interest or have to make payments while the investigation was pending. Within 6 weeks, Capital One chargedback the merchant and gave me my refund. I am so grateful to Capital One for protecting me from these crooks. If you got scammed by Vacation Services of America and paid by credit card, you are protected by law from fraudulent merchants . I am writing this in hopes of helping any other victims affected by this bogus business.
