This is an email sent to We Clean Carpet in San Antonio on 02/06/15. Hello, I just called and left a message on a voice mail to a manager, regarding Invoice #85214. I am not happy with paying for the Urinex service upcharge and I am seeking a credit back for the $280 + taxes.
Yesterday, Jan. 5th, 2015, the tech Joseph from We Clean Carpet came into my home and showed me with a black light that pet stains were in the carpet. I agreed to have the entire house done believing that this was going to remove the pet stains. Joseph failed to inform me that it would not remove the pet stains. That there was crystallization in the carpet where the stains could be seen and that the Urinex would decrystallize the the pet stains. This led me to believe that decrystallization would allow the steam clean process to remove the pet stains.
If he had told me that the stains would not be removed I would have opted only for the basic cleaning service of the $189.50 + taxes. I went back home last night and found that these stains are clearly visible all over the house with the black light I used. The tech needs to inform the customers that stains would not be removed with the Urinex, giving the customer a better angle of making a decision of whether or not to add a service and pay for it knowing what kind of results to expect!
Also, it would not make sense to resend the tech if you or he knows that the stains will not be removed by redoing the cleaning service. Would be a waste of time for him and me I don't believe that if it wasn't done right the first time, it also won't be done the 2nd time.
As of now they have refused to credit back the Urinex upcharge. The "manager" I spoke with claimed that the electronic invoice had been signed prior to the service rendered and agreeing to their terms and conditions. This is untrue, I explained to him that we did not sign anything until after the carpet cleaner (subcontracted person) finished his work. This is where the fine print for the terms and conditions is and unfortunately for me did not find out about this unpleasant issue until later that night by using my own black light to visually see the pet stains still in the carpet!
I expected professionalism from We Clean Carpet and I was not informed of the results to expect by the carpet cleaner.
