Web.com is ruining the Network Solutions business reputation.
I went for the pay per click and web page builer services. what a mistake. The pay per click was QUOTEd at .50 to 2.00 per click - when the reports came in they charged me as much as $5.00 per click! I was specificaly told they charged $500/month max and rolled over under used fees to the following month.....nope. they maxed my $500.00 out almost imediately by charging $5.00 per click. I asked for written confirmations - nothing came.
The web page builder service was a joke. All promises failed to materialize and the web page they made was junk.
multiple appointments where canceled and never made up....thank goodnes I used my credit card for all charges - I called my bank and they took back every dime of the charges.... with over 1500.00 in charges taken back you might think someone would call me to ask what was up...nope not a peep.
I hae used Network Solutions for over 5 years with great success and this web.com is nothing ore than a scam and an abuse of customers.
On Dec 19th i signed up for a full seo services through web.com costing $800.00 per month. Once signed up i was told i would talk to a professional within 3 business days. Once that time elapsed i called them waited on hold a very long time only to be told that i need to leave a message so on Dec 26th i left them a message. On Dec 27th i still had not heard from any one and called again - this time i was put on hold again for over twenty minutes and again i was told i would have to leave a message. Today, Dec 30th I again called put on hold for over twenty minutes again this time i was told i was going to be transfered to a voice mail. I sent them an e-mail only to be told to call the customer service deptartment. This is a monthly service charging $800.00 per month now 1/4 of the time has passed and i am just getting the run around form the company. I requested a full refund and the customer service person hung up the phone.
Web.com advertises to build a website for your business and charges you hundreds of dollars to keep website up and running, but will make changes to the website without your knowledge thus preventing customers or clients from using the service which in fact destroys the business leaving no possible way for its success!
