West Bridge Entertainment Reviews

I to had the same issue as an investor in the film "Sister Mary" as another person had previously posted. None of the terms of my contract were followed and when I called them on it, there was a back and forth as if I did something wrong. I gave them money in a time of need and I got nothing. Nothing. Not even the simple things that cost nothing to give back to an investor. I felt lied to, manipulated and every time I spoke with them, the story changed until it became too much to deal with so I just walked away.

I did my own investigation and sought legal advice, which was helpful. I found out a lot in regards to their business practices. They know that they aren't legit and they may have made a movie that was released, but it's not very good and quickly faded from anyones radar.

In the rebuttal to a previous complaint, Robert Forman wrote, "he shall receive only what is owed to him which is a copy of the sales report from the distributor when it becomes available to us and any profit he is owed if the film makes a profit, all as per his contract. Period. He shall receive nothing else." As a producer, aren't I entitled to the same thing? It's been 2 years since he posted that and I stil have seen nothing. No report and certainly no money. In another part of Roberts rebuttal he said, "he then decided to contact every single investor associated to the project, accusing us of being criminals", yet I was a producer and I never got a call from another producer as claimed by Mr. Forman, so his statement is false. Possibly trying to throw enough shade at the previous complaint to make it seem as if it were retrobution, but my experience was very similar.

Mr. Forman was not being completely true in his rebuttal but did frequently resort to name calling, which should be expected from someone who is adept at lying to investors. It's not a big leap to delusion from there.

All in all, I firmly believe that the funds were misappropriated and I was lied to, that I can prove. Is it worth it? Not really. They aren't going to do business correctly and they make movies that, in my opinion, aren't that great. So why bother? I am writing this to say that I had a similar experience to the previous producer who complained and hopefully someone will think twice about investing with this subpar movie production company.
