Simon wright speaks out and places a grim picture of technology in Australia. Simon wright. Who runs a well known technology forum speaks out about his personal views on the state of technology in Australia. The self named web tycoon openly speaks of how far behind Australia is in terms if internet speed and quality. In a surprising statement Simon also speaks out to the lack of talented programmers and developers in Australia. Stating that Australia's internet might be slow but that is no excuse for the pathetic skill level of our online workforce in Australia.
He claims that web developers in Australia are a joke and that he learnt more in his few weeks spent in Europe than he has in recent years in Australia. If only developers knew how pathetic they really are they wouldn't bother competing with people like him.
Claiming that he is a true Web tycoon and that the majority of Australian web developers, especially the females, should just give up, they are the worst and they should save their time and leave the work to Simon and his friends.
Needless to say, there has been quite a backlash from the tech community. The community that stood by him after recent allegations of taking bribes to damage hard working Australian businesses while claiming that the businesses had no one to blame but themselves. It seems that Simon is now a solo tycoon as his supporters are now realising that he is simply motivated by greed.
