On 10-18-203 i ordred 13 -8' tabes From Event Resoures sent them a check for 1080.00 and they shiped 6' tables
when i called Larry he said that he would get it fixed it has now been over 8 mons and I still have not recived what payed fore or a refund of the differance he keeps givng the run a rouand .
First, after submitting our corporate information to get an account setup, we prepaid due to our urgent need for product. We were advised of a one - two week delivery time for product which was "in stock." 4 Deliveries and 3 months later, we still do not have 9 of the items we purchased. We had to find other vendors and rent product at a higher rate due to not having stock - stock already promised to be on site months ealier.
This supplier has no regard for not being able to ship as promised. They shipped product we didn't ask for and still have not fulfilled their obligation. 6/17/14 was date payment in full for requested items was made. 11/18/14 and still 9 itmes missing from original order.
My suggestion, find someone interested in delivering when promised and not messing up that order. Aside from that, I would suggest to never use this company so that you do not have the issues.

On September 9, 2014 I ordered 24 60” round resin tables and 1 table cart from Event Resources also known as ELBAT file number C3395494 18375 Ventura Blvd, #624 Tarazana, CA 91356 he also uses the address of 5632 Van Nuys Blvd Van Nuys, CA 91403, also 11041 Santa Monica Blvd # 409 Los Angeles, CA 90025 owner Larry Hoffman via the internet for a grand total of $1975.00. The monies were then placed in a Chase Bank account Los Angeles CA account# “ELBAT”.
On September 12 I called Larry asking for the tracking number for my delivery and he said that he will send it today by email he never did. So on Monday September 15, 2014 I called again asking when will he send that tracking number he told me that he was going to get Stephanie to send it when she returns from lunch. That’s when I started to feel that something was not right with the situation and started to search the internet and as soon as I put in the name of the company RIP OFF popped up. I say oh no.
So I called Larry requesting a refund stating that I cause me to lose money for lack of my delivery not being shipped on time he asked if he could make it up to me and I said no just send me a refund so I can do business elsewhere he agreed to send a refund. On September 29, 2014 he send a check via FEDX I received that check by Friday October 3, 2014 went to the bank to cash it and the bank said that they could not cash that check. So I deposited in my checking account October 5, 2014 only to find out days later it would bounce October 8, 2014.
I e-mailed Larry letting him know what had happened. He said that he could wire me my refund via bank to bank only this time instead using the Chase account he would use his Bank of America account # why. Today is October 9, 2014 and he said that the monies would be in my account today.
Larry is deceitful dishonest and cheating a whole lot of people out of their monies including but not limited to the client, the state that he is operating out of the Internal Revenue tax dollars. He is collecting monies with no return he is very clever, because he knows that he is protected and the only way he will get caught is if someone takes me serious and investigate the information that I have handed over to them. The bank accounts with chase can look into who this person is the file number and help track the person down the box numbers that he is using can track him down because he has to use a physical address along with a social security number for the post office the banks and to register your business. Please help there are more poor victims waiting to be scammed.
Larry Hoffman and "Event resources" or Elbat Inc is a total fraud! Do not use this company! Larry steals your money, does not produce the product and refuses to give you a refund check. Beware of this man. Very sneaky and he needs to be put behind bars. I learned of his other criminal activity and fradulant work after our products were never delivered. We purchased items from him several months ago and were promised that the product would be delievered in 30 days. Larry is full of excuses and he is a liar!!!!

Not sure about the other reviews - but we ordered and received our chiavari chairs and tables on the
delivery date.. One chair was damaged and Larry send us a replacement within a week, no questions asked.
