Windham Professionals Reviews

Windham professionals seems like a scam. I didn't even know about my debt for months from my university that they are supposedly trying to collect and on top of that they added a 700 fee to the mix on top of their rude harassing behaviors. I have been avoiding their phone calls after first payment due to the fact that this company seems like a complete scam. Their voice mails are getting more and more harassing and rude, I cannot stand to speak to any of their staff for fear of being treated unprofessionally. They are without a doubt the worst people to work with and they call constantly. Even if a payment is made they won't stop calling. I am very close to taking legal action with this company and reporting them to the police. Rude rude rude. Their tone is desgusting and they are constantly threatening you with more fees and wage garnishment so if you don't comply to their demands.

I have received over 20 voicemails in the last four days that have dealt with my supposed debt. Take legal action do not let this company bully you around. Even if they arnt a scam I would never pay them the 700 dollar fee due to their nasty mouths and terrible customer service. Windham professionals can kiss my a**

Do NOT use Windham Professionals. They are a scam and do not really pay off your debt. They get you by telling you that you can start out with just a small fee. Especially if its automatically taken out of your account.

In the beginning of last year (2014) i decided to try and settle my student loan debt. Windham agreed to "rehabilitate" by account as they said. I thought that meant getting it back on track. Obviously not. I agreed to a small amount to be automatically taken out of my account to pay off my student loans. This went on for about a year.

Cut to now and i get a letter from the U.S. Dept. of Education sayig I have defaulted on my loans and to pay the past due amount. I immediately called and explained that I was making automatic payments through Windham Professionals. She then explained they are a third party company and that they do not use third party companies. Also that the Dept would contact me directly. The Rep. explained that I was not the only one and it's becoming to be a big problem and the Dept. hasn't received any payment. Thankfully the charges were taken off and now I'm in good standing.

I called Windham Professionals and spoke with a supervisor. She said that the Dept. had received the money even though I repeatedly told her I spoke with the Dept. and there is no such payment. I asked her where did the money go? Couldnt give me an answer only wanted to speak over me in a rude tone to say that the Dept. received it. I just hung up. It was just ridiculous.

Needless to say, I learned my lesson and suffered a significant financial loss as a consequence. Do Not Use This Company!!!SCAM!SCAM!SCAM!

Windgam Professional charged me over $1300 in fess plus interest on the defaulted student loan that was iriginally less than $2000 in balance. They are a pure ripoff company endorsed and underwrttten by yhe United States government. Wimdam doesn't even need to go to court inorder to get a garnishment. Yet they feel that a $600 charge for leagal fees is warranted. Then the tack on 25% of the balance including leagal fee as a collection fee to be paid to Windam plus 17% interest. Windam doesn't eve provide monthly statement to former student debtors. In fact, Windam refuses to answer questions, they just pass refers you back to the government.

Fact, Windam misplaced 2 of my garnishment payments. Iif I had not researched my account I could have wound up paying an addition $300 plus interest for their mistake. But they deny deny deny when in comes to making mitakes. Yes, they give options like go ahead and give us another payment in addtion to the garnishment and we might consider stoping the garnishment. Don't you think the garnisment payment is already enough out of a pay check as it is based on a formual .

In short, Windham Professional overcharges and ripsoff former student debtors by overcharging and inflating legal fees, collection fees, and interest.
