A photografer from the company worldredeyes took some pictures of me and my friend and he guaranteed that this pictures were not to be published online.
He asked my name to contact me on facebook and send me the pictures thing that he never did. What he did was publishing this picture in their websites with my name. Now this pictures appear on the first page when you search my name in google damaging my reputation (the pictures are ok in a context but not as a first thing that you see of a person)
I contacted the company and they asked me to make a huge donation to take care of the 2 pictures I wanted to see eliminated.
This company is a scam and does nothing but bully poor individuals who they take candid photos of, similar to thedirty. My privacy was breached by a photographer named Seth Browarnik, who has bullyed me since.
They are a popular event photographer in the Miami area, who happened to snap a candid photo of us out at a nightclub. The photographer promised that it would be sent to me via facebook only and not posted on the web. Now, when my name is searched on the internet, this picture at the nightclub is the first thing that comes up which is unprofessional.
This poses significant harm and risk to my reputation, especially considering that a google search on someone’s name is essentially a default behavior post initially meeting the individual and when looking for jobs.
I tried to contact Seth and his other photographers and the responses I got from him were extremely rude. Despite my efforts of lobbying Seth Browarnik, he has shown discomforting behavior, quoting legal cases, has been extremely rude off the bat and now has asked that I have my lawyer get in touch with his lawyer instead of simply removing the photo.
