I called and spoke to TC. I told him I asked about the 6' x 10' trailer that they advertise on Craigslist for $2195.00 TC said they had plenty and to come on down. I told him I would be there tomorrow.
I called the next day to confirm that I was on the way to pick up the trailer. TC said, "Come on down".
We had to drive through 2 or more hours of traffic. When we arrived, TC said that he never had a $2195.00 trailer. The trailer I want is now $2795.00. I see plenty of 6' x 10' trailers. I asked TC if he was going to sell me a trailer for the $2195.00 price that he advertised. TC said, "No, is now $2795.00".
I spoke to a guy that had just purchased and was hitching up a 6' x 10' trailer like I came to buy. He said they did the same thing to him. He just paid the price because he didn't have time to go elsewhere. He was upset and said that he would never buy from Yucaipa Trailers again. I left without purchasing a trailer.
These guys are scammers. Their website looks inviting. They advertise that they are a family business that is established for 25 years.
I saw a cluttered lot and junk filled shack. TC looked as though he slept in one of the trailers.
They put dozens of ads on craigslist everyday in Orange, LA, San Diego counties. They know that the drive to Yucaipa will be long. When you arrive, it is different story. Don't be fooled!
